Our training site adopts the flipped classroom model, serving as both an independent learning resource and a collaborative platform. It is designed to support teachers in preparing independently while fostering a shared, collective learning environment.

Teachers interact with the site by completing Knowledge Checks and Foundational Activities, meeting one-on-one with experienced mentors, and collaborating with peers. As they progress, the focus shifts to applying learning through teaching lessons, reflecting on experiences, and contributing to the site’s evolving resources.

The Knowledge Checks and Foundational Activities were developed by past and current teachers who successfully completed their onboarding journeys. This peer-driven approach ensures the training site remains a dynamic tool, continuously improving and streamlining the onboarding process for future participants. Contributing to the site not only solidifies individual understanding but also helps create a smoother path for others. This collaborative framework exemplifies the core philosophy of the flipped classroom model: prepare, learn, apply, and share within our thriving community of educators.
